New Patient information - please read before booking

Thank you for considering booking with me and for choosing acupuncture to support you on your path to health. When booking in as a New Patient, please book 3 sessions, one New Patient appointment, and two weekly Follow Up treatments (if possible in terms of my availability - otherwise fortnightly is also ok). I operate a 24hr cancellation policy, so if after the first session you decide that this treatment approach isn’t for you, or you don’t need the follow up treatments, you can cancel them without penalty.

The reason I ask you commit to at least 3 weekly treatments is to give this a fair chance to work. The treatment approach is always to get to the root cause of your imbalance which is causing your symptoms, not to suppress them in the way that e.g. pain killers do. Depending on the nature of your symptoms, and also how long you’ve had them, they are rarely resolved in one treatment alone. True healing often isn’t a linear process, and changing long held patterns that have lead to dis-ease takes time.

If this isn’t possible for you at the moment (whether time wise or financially), then I suggest you consider waiting until it is (unless it is urgent and you are in acute pain so cannot wait). Having long gaps between your initial treatments won’t do you any harm, but it might mean that you won’t get the most out of them.
